Qiova continues development, moving into its new premises

With a promising start into 2020 despite the coronavirus crisis, Qiova is settling in new premises in Andrézieux le Bouthéon (42), close to Lyon, France.

The site offers two laboratories – dedicated to R&D and laser application development activities – as well as a production area of 100m².

The new facilities will support the sales development of its flagship product VULQ1, a breakthrough innovation in laser manufacturing powered by digital laser beam shaping, a technology whose industrial application was pioneered by Qiova in the early 2010’s.

VULQ1 scales up the productivity and profitability of laser marking and micromachining, thanks to the use of digital photonic technologies allowing to produce more while consuming less.
